by isleofman.com 3rd March 2010

A doubling of the fee for an Isle of Man work permit has been officially approved.

The rise, from ?25 to ?50, will come into effect from April 1.

It covers both new and renewed applications for employment or self-employment.

Additionally, the changes also introduce a processing fee for Residential Status enquiries of ?20 per application.

It’s the first time in five years work permit fees have increased, despite rising inflation.
