Suay becomes Notary Public

by isleofman.com 5th March 2010

A Spanish advocate licensed to practice law in four countries has added to her impressive collection of qualifications by becoming a Notary Public.

Consuelo Suay, who works at at M&P Legal, can practise in Spain, England, Wales and the Isle of Man and is the only lawyer in the world with those qualifications.

Her new licence to act as a Notary Public in the Isle of Man means she’ll also be able to notarise documents in Spanish for use in Spain.

Consuelo’s unique portfolio of qualifications means that Manx residents looking to do business in Spain, for instance buying and selling Spanish property, can use a local advocate as their sole contact point.

Consuelo has lived in the Isle of Man for 17 years and has worked as a lawyer at M&P Legal for the past five years.
