Good showing at Manx Graduates info session

by isleofman.com 10th March 2010

More than 50 Isle of Man employers and recruiters attended a recent information session about Manx Graduates, the free-to-use careers and networking portal for Manx professionals.

Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney opened the event by saying, "It's important that we promote the opportunities that exist on the Island and that we encourage people to build their careers here.

"We need talented individuals to build our future, and Manx Graduates is a great tool towards achieving this goal."

The session included a presentation from Chris Gledhill, managing director of PDMS, the software firm that developed the site.

"Manx Graduates is far more than just a job board," he said, "it's an online community that helps employers and professionals network over the long term."
