Mainstream Alliance with International Agency

by isleofman.com 12th March 2010

Marketing agency Mainstream Financial Media & PR has joined forces with The Gate, an international marketing communications agency.

The move signals a new direction for Mainstream, one which the company claims will bring a significant extra dimension to the range of services it can offer to Island-based clients.

Announcing the move, Craig Wolstencroft, Managing Director of Mainstream, said, "Mainstream has been established for over ten years.  In that time, a lot has changed.

"Now, as we go into a new decade, globalisation, new media, changing demographics, recession and recovery, all combine to make life more challenging, but arguably more fun.

"At Mainstream, we are finding that clients in the public, private, and the third sector are increasingly demanding an approach which goes wider and deeper than conventional marketing; something which we feel has been lacking on the Island – until now.

"Therefore, in response to what we believe are unprecedented times – and unprecedented opportunities – we have teamed up with The Gate, an award winning agency, with a unique approach."

The Gate specialises in branding, design, communications planning, and in digital and social media.  With offices in London, New York, and Hong Kong.  Currently, it implements global or country specific campaigns for clients in almost every sector.

Phil Hawkins, Managing Director at The Gate, says, "I'm convinced that Mainstream’s in-depth understanding of the Isle of Man, and of marketing in an international context, plus The Gate’s insights, capabilities and global reach, will offer clients new and more effective ways of getting their messages across to either an on-Island or a global marketplace.

"Together, we believe that we will be able to offer something not currently available from any agency on the Isle of Man, a new way of doing things in a new decade".
