Wealth of Promotions at Standard Bank

Standard Bank Isle of Man has promoted nine members of staff across its trust, Priority Banking and Institutional Banking Teams.

 

John Coyle, Managing Director of Standard Bank Isle of Man Limited, said, "Standard Bank places a great emphasis on supporting the skills and careers of each staff member and through promotion we recognise the value and importance that we place on particular individuals.

 

"At a time when we are experiencing buoyancy at a local level, it is vital that we retain and develop those people who show commitment and professionalism within their roles to ensure stability for our existing and new clients. 

 

"We congratulate each of the nine on their success and wish them the best of luck in their new roles."


In the Trust Team, Annie Sanchez-Talavera has been promoted to Senior Manager.  She will oversee 17 staff in her new role and is joined in promotion by Ian Hamer, who is now a Manager, having worked for the bank for 12 years.  In addition, Michael McHale becomes Assistant Manager and Sarah Bell becomes a Supervisor also within the Trust Division.

 

In Priority Bank, Chris Smethurst has been promoted to Assistant Manager of Business Development within the Priority Banking Division.  Meanwhile, Peter Giles and Janette Morgan have both been promoted to supervisory roles within the team.

 

Lastly, in Institutional Bankin, Peter Dixon and Chiara Pollard have been promoted to Manager.  In their new roles, they will each be responsible for a team of account managers who provide the full range of banking services available for corporate and intermediary clients.
