CMI Take Island Message to City of London

by isleofman.com 17th March 2010

The City of London seen from the Thames was the backdrop for a Scottish Widows sales event, initiated by CMI, to build awareness of its global investment products which can be purchased through Scottish Widows.

CMI managing director Dean Waddingham (pictured) and personal portfolio and investments manager Juan Clarke played hosts to more than 100 guests - IFAs and Scottish Widows sales force members – on a Thames cruise through the heart of the City aboard the Silver Sturgeon river yacht.

Mr Waddingham outlined CMI’s suite of products and focused on the company’s commitment to customer service excellence, while colleagues from the financial planning team provided an insight into investing offshore.

Once the main business of the afternoon was concluded the guests enjoyed a wine tasting before disembarking at the Savoy Pier on the north bank of the Thames.

Mr Waddingham said, "The event was organised by the Scottish Widows sales team in the UK and was a great way to bring a little of the Isle of Man into the heart of the City of London.

"Importantly, the occasion provided a valuable opportunity to position the CMI product portfolio firmly at the centre of the Scottish Widows product range aimed at the high net worth market."
