by isleofman.com 23rd March 2010

Bridson & Horrox has been awarded Investors in People status for best practice in staff training and development.

The printing and office products firm achieved the recognition after an independent reassessment process.

Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney helped the company celebrate with a tour of its facilities, learning how Investors in People will help the company in the future.

Managing Director Darren Horrox says Investors in People is an excellent tool to improve performance and creates a framework for continuous development.

He says working towards the award has already meant improvements in team motivation and reduced staff turnover.
