SCS Wins Prestigious Edinburgh Contract

by isleofman.com 24th March 2010

One of the Island's leading building services companies, SCS (Stewart Clague Services), has secured a prestigious contract to carry out specialist electrical works on the new Edinburgh tram operations centre currently under construction next to Edinburgh Airport.

It’s another major endorsement for the firm, which is this year celebrating its 40th Anniversary.

SCS recently completed a project in the north east of England, providing contract support on the commissioning of new critical power equipment serving Europe’s largest and most environmentally friendly data centre.

Electrical contracts manager for SCS, Paul Wood said, "Our company has an excellent reputation through our supply chain for delivering on such end projects and it is great that we can utilise the skills and expertise of our engineers both on and off the Island, particularly in the current climate where contracts in the building services industry have declined in recent times."
