The Isle of Man has won a high ranking in the City of London's seventh Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI).
In the category of Offshore Centres, the Isle of Man came in 3rd behind Jersey (1st) and Guernsey (2nd).
In the full list of 75 financial centres, the Isle of Man is ranked at 24.
Although the Island ranked lower than Jersey (18) and Guernsey (22), it is the only Crown Dependency not to have fallen down in the rankings since 2009; Jersey and Guernsey slipped 4 and 7 places respectively.
The findings were derived from two sources of data - external indices and responses to an online survey.
The GFCI was first published in March 2007 as a way of gauging "the changing perspectives of market practitioners and regulators on what attracts them to locate in different international financial centres across the world."
