ICSA's International Tax Presentation a Success

by isleofman.com 16th April 2010

A presentation organised by ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) IOM and hosted by the Hilton Hotel yesterday evening (Thursday 15th April 2010) proved a successful and 'invaluable' event.

The presentation 'International Tax Investigations in the Isle of Man - a Legal Perspective' was given by two members of Dougherty Quinn Advocates, Tom Maher (Head of Corporate and Commercial) and Giles Hill (Director of Litigation/Dispute Resolution).

The event was sponsored by OCRA Worldwide.  Speaking afterwards, Edward Leigh, Managing Director of OCRA Worldwide’s Marine and Aviation Divisions, said, "As a leading Island-based marine and aviation service provider, we are pleased to continue our support of ICSA events.

"This presentation was an invaluable opportunity for Isle of Man Chartered Secretaries and colleagues to increase their knowledge in the area of international tax."
