A Manx company found itself in the middle of corruption and bribery allegations after a senior pharmaceutical manager admitted spending millions bribing Greek doctors.
Robert John Dougall, 44, former marketing director at a United Kingdom subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson admitted paying ?4.5 million in bribes to doctors to have them buy his products.
He was sentenced to a year in jail.
The court heard incentive payments were made to Greek surgeons via Madison Management which was registered in Lord Street, Douglas but was dissolved in 2006.
Dougall, who cooperated with the investigation by the United Kingdom's Serious Fraud Office, was charged in December with conspiracy to corrupt.
