Interview with new man on Whitley Council

The new representative for the employees' side on the Whitley Council says he is looking forward to getting 'stuck into new challenges'.

Steve Salter is the acting regional industrial organiser for Unite, and late last week it was announced he would be representng public sector manual workers on the negotiating body.

Mr Salter succeeds former union spokesman Bernard Moffatt, and Howard Caine asked him if that was a tough act to follow:
