Medis announces new appointments

PHARMACEUTICAL company Medis has appointed a new Regulatory Affairs Specialist and also announced three promotions.

Fiona Kermode has recently joined the company as Regulatory Affairs Specialist having moved from a similar role at SEQ Ltd. Fiona is a member of TOPRA, The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs and has a diploma in chemistry.

Fiona Hawkins has been promoted from Regulatory Affairs Specialist to Regulatory Projects Co-ordinator. She has been with Medis since 2007 and has worked in the pharmaceuticals industry for 18 years. Fiona is a graduate of Dublin City University where she studied analytical science.

Mark Gerrard has been promoted from Regulatory Affairs Specialist to Team Leader. Mark’s team has responsibility for licensing in Spain. He has been with Medis for three years and before joining the company was a research scientist at Loughborough University and gained a PhD in physical chemistry at Nottingham Trent University. 

Sacha Holder has been promoted from Team Leader to Regulatory Affairs Manager. She has been with Medis for five years and is a member of TOPRA and has a BSc in pharmacology. Sacha said she was delighted to welcome Fiona Kermode to Medis and congratulated Fiona Hawkins and Mark Gerrard on their promotions.
