Four Women Take On New Roles At PDMS

FOUR women are taking on new roles at PDMS with two promotions and two new appointments.

"We've had a lot of growth and change over the past several months resulting in these four new posts," said Chris Gledhill, managing director, PDMS. "Our ability to attract and keep the best people for our team has always been key to our success. These appointments reflect that ethos."

Barbara Collister has been promoted to the role of personal assistant to the managing director and will also take on responsibility for human resource administration.  Barbara originally joined PDMS in 2000 and has been in various administrative roles since that time.

Carla Jewell has been promoted from office administrator to office manager. She joined the company in 2005 and has continuously developed in her career. She has recently returned to work from maternity following the birth of her 
second son, Harrison.

Katie Nicholson joins PDMS as marketing 
executive under the Isle of Man Government Department of Economic Development's (DED) Graduate Scheme, which uses the Manx Graduates portal (https://foxdale.isleofman.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.manxgraduates.im/) to help recruit local graduates on to the scheme.  Katie graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2009 and, has gained experience in various temporary positions at Shoprite, EnergyFM and Barclays Wealth.

Central to the the DED graduate programme is a two-year work placement at PDMS, during which Katie will gain valuable business experience. She will also study part-time at the Isle of Man International Business School to gain a post-graduate degree.


Alice Thomas, a politics graduate from Newcastle University, has been appointed as account executive to the PDMS Digital Design team. "I'm excited to be working with the broad range of clients and on the varied projects that the digital team supports," she said.


PDMS, a Microsoft Gold Partner, serves clients in the Isle of Man, the UK and further afield. Digital Design is PDMS's dedicated web and graphic design department and offers a full range of web
