Senior appointment at Barclays

by isleofman.com 12th May 2010

Barclays Wealth has a new head of corporate affairs.

Caroline Cornish has joined the board of Barclays Private Clients International after more than 30 years of experience in the banking and fund industries.

She says she did so after being impressed with the company's balance sheet and brand, and the fact it didn't need the United Kingdom government to intervene during the banking crisis.

Managing director of Barclays Wealth Greg Ellison says Caroline will be responsible for enhancing corporate governance, growing the business, and its contribution to the Island.
