Sure's "tremendous growth" in mobiles

by isleofman.com 19th May 2010

SURE has cemented its position as the leading mobile operator in Britain’s offshore jurisdictions having grown its number of customers to more than 77,000 across the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. The mobile operator now has more than 40% of the total market available.

In the Isle of Man, more than 17,000 people have chosen Sure as their mobile phone provider. This latest milestone confirms that Sure’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service, network reliability and highly competitive pricing is continuing to attract new customers in large numbers.

This continued growth in customers enables Sure to invest millions of pounds every year in those areas which customers consider most important: network performance, customer service and leading the way in developing new price plans and promotional offers.

“We’ve added 2,000 customers across the islands since January, which is tremendous growth,” says Paul Taylor, Marketing Director at Sure. “I’d like to thank all our customers for choosing Sure.”

“We remain the leading mobile network across the three island jurisdictions and as more customers join the Sure mobile community, we’re able to repay them with even greater investment. This means an even better customer experience and continually increasing value for money.”

“As an example of the fair pricing ideas we’ve brought to market, we have heavily promoted the importance of per second billing and are the only local network to make it free to receive calls when travelling in Europe. As we move towards summer, islanders can expect to see the launch of more great value services.”
