IFG has raised the sum of £505 for Alzheimer’s Society (Isle of Man) in an raffle event organised its Sports and Social Committee.
IFG received the generous donation of a bespoke IFG Easter Egg from local chocolatier CocoaRed (www.cocoared.com) and for other prizes donated by member of the Sports and Social Committee itself.
The top raffle prizes, however, were donated by Hamilton Mann, a new recruitment business currently being set up on the Isle of Man and which is a division of the UK based Optimum Personnel.
The fund raising cheque was handed over by the Sports and Social Committee and IFG International Limited’s managing director, Brian Lee, to Margaret Pimblett and Nicki Sinclair from the local Alzheimer’s Society .
Alzheimer’s Society (Isle of Man) is an Isle of Man-based registered charity that champions the rights of everyone with dementia believing that they, and those who care for them, should have the opportunity to live a life of dignity in the community.
In the Isle of Man the Alzheimer’s Society runs a Respite sitting service in partnership with Crossroads Caring for Carers (Isle of Man) and a monthly Carers support group held on the first Wednesday of every month at OPMHS at Ballakermeen Road starting at 10 am.
