DOUGLAS-based company ICM Accounting Limited has been authorised as an ACA training employer by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), a world leader of the accountancy and finance profession.
There are more than 2,200 ICAEW authorised organisations of every shape and size, across the world who train ACA students. These range from accountancy firms to FTSE companies and public sector organisations. ICM Accounting is now one of only eighteen approved ACA training employers on the Isle of Man. Responsibilities include providing all the right support to ACA students and complying with the ICAEW universal training standards.
“I am delighted that ICM Accounting Limited has been approved by ICAEW to train ACA students,” said ICM Finance Director, Siobhan Hill. “This is not only recognition of our commitment to professional and personal development but also of our ability to meet the high standards set by the ICAEW in assuring all students receive a consistent level of support and guidance throughout their training period.
“As a potential training employer we had to prove we could offer the right training structure, the right contract between employer and student and the best level of support from our mentors and trainers. The ACA is an internationally recognised mark of quality and we are very happy to be associated with it.”
The ICM Accounting team has expanded over the last two years and now has nine members of the team. As part of the ICM Group of companies, the team previously supported existing clients by ensuring company accounts were prepared on time and with due diligence.
ICM Accounting is also now able to offer a new service to external clients, small and medium businesses and other organisations and individuals looking to outsource their accounting requirements.
