Inflation in the Isle of Man is continuing to rise, and has reached a level not seen for almost two years.
It went up by 0.6 per cent in May, and now stands at 5.6 per cent, having remained static for the previous couple of months.
Treasury Minister Anne Craine told Jason Roberts she accepted it was putting further pressure on people whose earnings didn't reflect such rises:
