Simcocks Trust celebrates its 10th anniversary

by isleofman.com 2nd July 2010

BUSINESS leaders and government officials attended a party at the Sefton Hotel’s atrium water garden to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Simcocks Trust.

Company directors greeted the guests who were treated to champagne and canapés.

Managing director of Simcocks Trust David Karran gave a short speech thanking guests for helping to celebrate a significant milestone in the company’s history.

He joked about its humble beginnings in a small office with a broken chair, half-built desks and computers stored in cardboard boxes.

But since that time, said Mr Karran, the company had flourished thanks to the hard work and dedication of staff and directors who had continually demonstrated their enthusiasm and commitment to the business.

He said: "It marked a truly special occasion for all the team at Simcocks Trust and I am delighted that so many of our business associates and friends were able to join our celebrations.

"I look forward to the company continuing its success into the future and am confident that the Isle of Man and Simcocks Trust can rise to any challenge and go from strength to strength."

Mr Karran said the company prided itself in providing a high quality service for its corporate and private clients.

He said that the company had worked hard to establish its reputation for working well with businesses both on and off Island and intended to continue its success.
