THE Junior Chamber of Commerce has arranged a private presentation for members to view the regeneration plans for Douglas.
It will take place at the Strand Shopping Centre next Wednesday (July 14) at 6pm.
The entry will be via the rear Market Street entrance and there will be drinks and nibbles.
At the event members will have the opportunity to review the draft plans before hearing from Douglas Development Partnership development manager Chris Pycroft.
Its primary function is to improve the image and environment of Douglas. Chris Pycroft moved to the Isle of Man in 2000 to manage Douglas Development Partnership after running an Chris worked with the Department of Transport and Douglas Borough Council to co-ordinate the North Quay improvement project, which established new ways of designing and implementing environmental improvement projects on the island. His current priority and focus of this presentation are the regeneration plans for Douglas town centre. Those in attendance will get the opportunity to ask questions and put forward their observations and comments. Admission is £5 to non members. Priority will be given to members.
