by isleofman.com 12th July 2010

MANX2.COM has launched a service from the Isle of Man to Galway via Belfast International Airport.

There will be flights every Friday and Sunday and fares start from £59.95 each way including taxes and charges.

The launch of the route, on Friday, came just a week after Manx2.com started its new service between Galway and Cork.

Manx2.com currently carries 100,000 passengers a year between the Isle of Man and Blackpool, Belfast, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Gloucester and Jersey.

It employs 60 staff and has a fleet of seven aircraft providing up to 30 flights a day to the Isle of Man. Its customer services, reservations and operations departments are all based in the new hangar facility at Ronaldsway Airport.
