by isleofman.com 27th July 2010

MANX Telecom marketing communications manager Voirrey Barron has achieved chartered marketer status by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

To achieve this status Voirrey successfully passed numerous exams and assignments and completed 70 hours of continuous professional development over two years.

Voirrey said: "I'm delighted to have finally reached chartered marketer status.

"This has been a long term goal and is the product of a lot of hard work in my own time.

"I'm extremely grateful to my employer Manx Telecom who has supported me every step of the way. Chartered marketer status shows your employer that you are an up to date, experienced and qualified professional, not least it demonstrates a high level of professionalism and commitment to the business."

Voirrey, who worked for Duke Marketing before joining Manx Telecom in 2005, is now part of an elite group of 18 additional chartered marketers in the Island and more than 5,000 chartered marketers worldwide.
