A planned eco-town near Leeds is up for sale after its Manx developer went into liquidation.
Plans were in place to transform the site into 9,000 carbon-neutral homes – but the UK government turned down the proposals at Oulton Hall.
Isle of Man-based Oulton Hall Ltd has put the 550-acre site on the market with a price tag of ?4.65m, after buying the estate in 2003.
The company went into liquidation in 2009.
The property includes a Grade II listed farmhouse, two derelict cottages and traditional farm buildings.
