Moore Stephens raises money for Sailing for the Disabled

by isleofman.com 18th August 2010

MOORE Stephens Isle of Man has raised £603 for Sailing For The Disabled.

The money was raised by a raffle the accountancy and wealth management firm organised at the prize giving reception for the Moore Stephens Douglas Bay Regatta in June.

Ayuk Ntuiabane, director of Moore Stephens Yachting, said: "As corporate members of the Sailing For The Disabled charity we are over the moon to have raised over £600 for such a worthwhile cause.

"We are thankful to our guests on board MV Karina and also the crews from the racing who all donated so generously to the raffle."

He also thanked the firms and individuals who donated to the raffle.

Martin Sewell, fundraiser for Sailing for the Disabled, said: "We are very grateful for the support of Moore Stephens Isle of Man. Fund raising efforts such as these enable Sailing For The Disabled to continue to provide opportunities for persons with disabilities to participate in sailing on equal terms with their able bodied counterparts in a harmonious and safe environment."
