Barclays racism seminar

by isleofman.com 2nd September 2010

Barclays Wealth has been supporting a project to help steer children away from racism.

Show Racism the Red Card involved primary schools and three ex-professional football players.

A seminar at the Manx Museum saw 200 schoolchildren from Murrays Road, St Mary’s, Arbory, Anagh Coar and Rushen Primary Schools gathering.

They met football players Leroy Rosenior, Olivier Bernard and Christian Roberts – and Caitlyn Boyle of Anagh Coar School won a Manchester United shirt for asking the best question of the day

Carl Lawrenson of Barclays Wealth says the company is committed to encouraging diversity and the event helped instil that in the Island’s primary school children.
