Capital Treasury Services (CTS) has appointed Craig Dalton as treasury services manager.

Mr Dalton, 28, joins CTS, a division of the Capital International Group, from Royal Bank of Scotland International and brings 11 years banking and financial services experience to the role.

A former Ramsey Grammar School student, he began his career with HSBC before moving to RBSI where he worked for 10 years, was instrumental in shaping the bank's corporate telephony operation into the corporate service team and later rose to the position of corporate manager in the financial institutions relationship management team.

As CTS treasury services manager he will be providing treasury services to high net worth individuals, local financial institutions and intermediaries.

Mr Dalton said: "Having built up more than a decade of experience servicing the financial requirements of a wide client base and developed a web of well respected local business contacts, I believe my industry background will lend itself extremely well to the demands of my new role."

CTS managing director John Cookson said: "I am pleased to welcome Craig to the team.

"At just 28 he brings a wealth of experience, professionalism and maturity to the post, and reflects the reinvigorated profile of the Capital International Group as we enter a new era in our development with the consolidation of all the group’s operations into one flagship central Douglas location.

"This represents a monumental change for the business and I am delighted that Craig shares his new colleagues' motivation and enthusiasm for the exciting growth opportunities the relocation offers."

Mr Dalton added: "I am extremely excited and proud to have been successful in my appointment at such an exciting time for CTS and the wider Capital International Group.

"I look forward to the challenges associated with my new role and making my contribution to the continued success of the Group."

Mr Dalton is Manx-born and plays football for Ramsey AFC in his home town.
