A FORMER head girl has returned to the Island to take up a position as a trainee advocate.
Victoria Kiver, a former head girl at Queen Elizabeth II High School in Peel, has joined Simcocks Advocates in Douglas.
She graduated from Lancaster University in 2008 and also studied in London. Recently she completed the Bar Vocational Course at The College of Law in Bloomsbury.
Victoria, 24, said: "This is a very exciting opportunity for me. I carried out a number of work experience placements with Simcocks during my studies and I am thrilled to now be part of the team."
Phil Games, chief executive of Simcocks Isle of Man, said: "Victoria impressed us with her enthusiasm and commitment when she volunteered to come and work at Simcocks in her holidays. We feel confident she will make a valuable contribution."
