THE ILS Group will be promoting the Isle of Man at a major business conference in Hong Kong in November, with the intention of taking “a strong business message”.

The company, which is based in Douglas, is a global fiduciary provider and will be promoting the Island's reputation as a well respected international business centre and as an established platform for business success.

The ILS Group is a ‘gold sponsor’ at the prestigious the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Asia conference which will be attended by 350 business leaders from around the world. The company will be represented by eight of its directors from its offices worldwide.

The conference - entitled Tax and Trusts in Asia: Back to Our Future - will be held on November 9th and 10th and will highlight issues relevant to the financial services industry including, the effect of IFCs on developing nations, confidentiality, the paradox of privacy, G20, international finance centres and cross-border succession issues.

“This is a unique opportunity for The ILS Group”, said chief executive Chris Eaton. “We are looking forward to our involvement at such a prestigious and well-known event and will take the opportunity to promote our comprehensive range of global services and the Isle of Man, as an international business centre where success and prosperity are common-place.

“We will have a dedicated audience of business leaders from around the globe, and will certainly ensure they take the Manx message home with them.”

The ILS Group will also be hosting private seminars in Beijing and Shanghai for more than 100 delegates in the commercially dynamic economic area.

The events - entitled ‘ILS's International Trust and Company Tool Kit - Using International Companies and Trusts for Wealth Creation and Wealth Protection Purposes’, will be held on November 16th and 18th.

The ILS Group seminars will address a variety of fiduciary issues, including how to maximise the value of Intellectual Property, how to maximise wealth creation using international trading structures and wealth protection using international trust and holding structures and global trading.
