'Simple reason' for further economic growth

A net growth rate of 4.7 per cent for the Isle of Man's economy during the financial year 2008-2009 put it at the forefront of nations across Europe.

Minister for Economic Development Allan Bell calls it 'a very pleasant piece of news', during what has been a turbulent twelve months.

The figure is included in the Manx Treasury's 2008-2009 National Income Report, and Mr Bell believes there is a simple reason for the Island's success:
