THE Isle of Man's Junior Chamber of Commerce is holding a presentation on the Island's space industry
after recent reports suggested that the Island is one of the most likely nations to get its flag on the moon.
The presentation, entitled Space: The Final Frontier, will focus on the continuing development of the Island's space industry.
It follows the Google Lunar X Prize Summit which was hosted in the Island this week.
Alex Duffy, chairman of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, said: "The energy and efforts being put into the space industry by everyone involved could clearly be felt at the conference. The international attendees are clearly committed to the Island and excited about the future.
"I hope our presentation will provide an opportunity for more people to attend and hear first hand how this important new sector of our economy has grown to date and its future expansion plans."
The guest speakers at the presentation will be Tim Craine, director of the Business Development Agency, and Alex Downie MLC.
The presentation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, at the Claremont Hotel.
There will be a buffet from 6pm with the presentation beginning at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £9 for JCC members and £13 for non members.
