Morris takes up role as captive finance accountant at Thomas Miller

THOMAS Miller Risk Management (Isle of Man) Limited have announced the appointment of a new captive finance accountant.

 

Stephen Morris has taken up the newly created role which includes new business development, project work and overseeing the accounting aspects of certain captives managed by Thomas Miller.

 

Director of the company Ross Dennett said: "With his commercial background and experience Stephen is a valuable addition to the captive team and we see him becoming an increasingly important part of our business in the years ahead.

 

"His appointment forms part of the long term growth and contingency strategy for Thomas Miller Risk Management, ensuring that every part of the client experience continues to be met by professional experienced staff."

 

As part of a long term structured succession plan Stephen will ultimately be responsible for a specific portfolio of captive accounts.

 

He said: "At Thomas Miller Risk Management captive insurance is our core competence - we are not a broker offering a 'bolt on' management service. This gives us a true independence which few other companies in this sector can offer."  

 

Stephen is a qualified ACA Accountant and has 10 years experience in the financial services sector.
