THE ninth European iGaming Congress and Expo (EIG) is in full swing in Copenhagen with the Island being well represented by a number of Manx companies who are in attendance.
ILS, Continent 8 and Manx Telecom are exhibiting at the largest dedicated iGaming conference which runs until October, 21.
Stephen Kane, head of data centre commercial development at Manx Telecom, said: "Making the Island a destination of choice for eGaming companies and associated industries is, of course, a group effort.
"Our success has been due in large part to the partnership we have forged with the Isle of Man Government, and others, to ensure that the Island wins a significant share of the global eGaming market.
"Events such as the European iGaming Congress and Expo give us all a tremendous opportunity to showcase the best the Island has to offer."
More than 1,500 exhibitors and speakers from around the world will be attending the event.
This year the show will feature presentations from the industry's leading figures and presentation sessions dedicated to the best in e-gaming products and services.
Richard Ebbutt, head of marketing at Continent 8, said: "It is going to be an interesting event this year. We are likely to see a lot of discussions on the legislative changes in Europe and from a marketing perspective around how the various forms of online media and brands will come together in the online gaming space."
ILS Group Limited will be promoting the Isle of Man as an established platform for eGaming success.
Lee Hills, eGaming coordinator, said: "This is a great opportunity for ILS Fiduciaries to promote its comprehensive range of eGaming products.
"This is the third year we have represented the Isle of Man at this event and we are looking forward to our involvement at such a global event. We will take the opportunity to promote the Isle of Man as an international business centre."
