Dominion to open office in Antibes

by isleofman.com 19th October 2010

DOMINION Consultants - a subsidiary of ICM UK Ltd - is opening an office in Antibes in France.

Marine manager Catherine Connolly said: "It is something we have been considering for some years as Port Vauban in Antibes is the biggest private pleasure port in Europe, with the majority of the yachts we manage moored there.

"Antibes is regarded as the centre for yachting in Europe. It's important we should be there and we made the decision to open a consultancy after attending the Antibes Yacht Show in April this year.

"It just made sense, particularly with so many ports further down that coast."

Both Dominion Consultants and ICM UK Ltd provide consultancy business to the ICM group which has its head office in Douglas.

The office in Antibes will be managed by consultant Jackie Baker who started her career in the yachting industry in 1987.

She said: "My heart took me there and I spent six years in yacht brokerage and then went to Barcelona to support a maritime logistics company."

After 10 years in Barcelona she opened two boutiques in Menorca but sold them in 2008 and returned to Antibes last year.
