by isleofman.com 27th October 2010

TWO new apprentices have joined the Manx Electricity Authority.

Nicholas Exton, apprentice cable jointer, and James Sharpe, apprentice linesman, have both joined the Network Services Team.

Phil King, chief executive of the MEA, said: "The MEA has a successful history of developing young people through apprenticeships and we are always overwhelmed with the calibre and number of applicants available in the Island.

"As a long standing Manx organisation we are pleased to be able to support young local talent and hope Nicholas and James enjoy a long and happy career with the MEA."
