THE first eGaming summit to be held in the Island will debate the challenges and opportunities facing the sector both locally and globally.
KPMG are hosting the summit which will bring together key stakeholders and decision makers within the industry.
Russell Kelly, director responsible for eGaming services at KPMG Isle of Man, said: "We have an excellent line-up of speakers for the event presenting on a really diverse range of topics. This summit is a great opportunity for these key individuals to share their experience and industry knowledge.
"The Isle of Man is a leading jurisdiction for the eGaming sector and has benefitted greatly from it already. This summit and the great interest that has been shown in it is testament to that."
The summit will start with a session called "A Good Place to Play" which will focus on Isle of Man operators and providers and discuss matters specific to the Manx jurisdiction.
There will be an update from the Isle of Man Government's Gambling Supervision Commission and Department of Economic Development by Steve Brennan and Garth Kimber.
Following that Malcolm Couch, the Isle of Man Government Assessor of Income Tax, will talk about the tax regime and Dan Starr of Neovia Financial will focus on banking and payments.
Rory Anderson of 12Bet will talk about why his company recently chose to set up in the Island.
The second session "A Safe Bet" will be opened by Mark Summerfield, the global head of gaming at KPMG, and will look at global challenges and developments for the sector.
Tex Rees, of the regulating body eCOGRA, will talk about the actions taken by operators to make their products safe and fair for players and AON will discuss insuring the sector.
Bill Mummery of Celton Manx will talk about the attraction of the Isle of Man for operators hailing from Asia and developing companies.
The final speaker of the day will be Warwick Bartlett from GBGC who will look at future trends.
Delegates will also have the chance to quiz key figures in the sector about their specific interests and concerns.
The summit will be held on Tuesday, November 23, at Mount Murray Hotel.
