No immediate concerns over VAT share

Ongoing discussions with the United Kingdom Government over the Island's VAT deal do not represent a change in policy.

So says Economic Development Minister Allan Bell, after a question about the revenue sharing agreement was asked in the House of Commons.

The agreement was revised last year, resulting in a loss of ?85 million in revenue this financial year and up to ?140 million next year.

However, Mr Bell is dismissing suggestions the current talks could see a further reduction in the Island's share of the revenue pool:
