by isleofman.com 26th November 2010

The chief executive of the Financial Supervision Commission will give evidence next week as enquiries continue into the collapse of Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander, and the workings of the Depositors' Compensation Scheme.

A Tynwald select committee is now focusing primarily on the DCS after publishing an interim report into the bank's collapse.

John Aspden will give evidence on Thursday, December 2, along with Dr Angela Downs of the Depositors' Action Group.

The sitting is at 2.30pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, and is open to the public.
