LOCAL company Equiom will be exhibiting at the world's leading showcase for gaming technology later this month.
The corporate service provider is attending the ICE Totally Gaming Expo in London. Last year this event attracted almost 19,000 people.
Equiom will be co-exhibiting on the Isle of Man Government's stand along with a selection of other corporate service providers and providers to the e-Gaming industry.
The shared exhibition stand is part of the Department of Economic Development's on-going strategy to bring more online gaming operators to the Island.
Senior manger of business development Richard MacNee and team leader of e-Gaming services Kerry Tasker will be representing Equiom at the show.
Richard said: "This is an opportunity for us to exhibit to a truly global audience in a sector that can expect only growth in the near future.
"Online gaming has enormous potential and the Isle of Man is an excellent jurisdiction for licensing. We strongly believe that both Equiom and the Isle of Man offer gaming operators unique business opportunities.
"ICE is the first of a number of events we plan to attend in the near future. We also intend to visit South and Central America with plans already in place to go to Macau and Panama. Alongside this external exposure for the Equiom e-Gaming brand we are actually growing our team internally to accommodate the great potential we see in the market."
The e-Gaming industry already accounts for over 600 jobs in the Island and has the capacity to increase considerably as a result of the Island's excellent technological infrastructure and strong financial reputation.
The ICE Totally Gaming expo runs from January 25 to January 27 and is held at Earl's Court in London.
