'Have a voice on regeneration', says Christian

by isleofman.com 11th January 2011

An invitation is going out to businesses in the capital to sign up for corporate membership of the Douglas Development Partnership.

In the past, the number of corporate members has been in the 20s, but recently interest has waned.

With a ?5 million regeneration scheme for the town centre edging closer, leader of the borough council David Christian says it's more important than ever for businesses to have a voice.

He told Graham Bell rates of subscription represented good value for money (play audio file):

The borough council is offering a number of incentives to encourage businesses to become corporate members of the Douglas Development Partnership.

You can ring the town hall, on 636300, during normal office hours, for more information.
