Speaker of the House of Representatives Harry Jenkins MP is among the delegates attending a conference of speakers and presiding officers from all over the British Commonwealth.
The death toll from the flash floods in Queensland stands at 25, but 55 people are still missing.

Yesterday the speakers and presiding officers were given a tour of the Island, and today (Friday) there is a meeting in the Tynwald chamber.
