2010 - a great year for CLI

Isle of Man-based Canada Life International has doubled its sales over the last twelve months.

The company says in 2010 it achieved ?1.11 billion, compared with a 2009 figure of ?527 million.

The results come in the same week actuarial consulting firm AKG announced CLI had retained its five star financial strength rating for the eighth year in a row.

Managing director at Canada Life International Sean Christian says the company has gained market share over the last two years thanks to customer service training and a process improvement programme.
