New trainee advocate at Simcocks

DAVID Clegg has joined Simcocks as a trainee advocate.

 

The former Ramsey Grammar School pupil has returned to the Island after undertaking his law degree at Lancaster and the legal practice course at the University of Central Lancashire.

 

He has started working in Simcocks' private client department.

 

Chief executive Phil Games said: "We have a great deal of experience and expertise in our private client department and it was ranked in the top tier of the 2010 edition of the Legal 500.

 

"We are delighted to welcome David to the team; we have been impressed with his enthusiasm and are confident he will be a valuable asset."

 

David, 22, said: "I am looking forward to working with a team that has such a strong reputation. I was particularly attracted to the firm for the diverse range of work it is involved in and its extremely high standards."

 

Outside work David has a wide variety of hobbies and interests including kite surfing, windsurfing, skiing and sailing.
