LAURA Bellwood has been promoted to marketing manager at Thomas Miller Investment (Isle of Man) Limited.

She joined the company in October 2005, beginning her career with the firm as a member of the operations and treasury teams, and moved into the marketing department in January 2009.

Laura has recently assumed responsibility for the oversight and strategic co-ordination of the marketing activities for the Thomas Miller Investment Group across its three offices in the Isle of Man, London and Edinburgh.

She is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, gaining the CIM Professional Diploma in 2009, and is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.

Laura said: "I have seen the company expand over the last few years and have been privileged to have been involved in some exciting projects involving both the business and the community which have focused on increasing our presence on the Island. 

"During 2011 I am delighted to be implementing this strategy across our other offices."
