by isleofman.com 27th February 2011

CONTINENT 8 has been awarded the Technology Supplier of the Year Award at the International Gaming Awards.

The awards, now in their fourth year, were held last month at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in London in support of the Care International and Children with Leukaemia charities.

Continent 8 fought off competition from other nominees including Playtech, 3M Touch Systems, Bally Technologies, Evolution Gaming and Iovation Inc.

The award was accepted by Michael Tobin and Jay Stubina the co-founders of Continent 8.

Michael said: "To receive this award is great recognition for the work the company has done in the industry. It is even more so because the award was voted for by our peers in the online gaming sector.

"Continent 8 continues to develop products specifically to meet our customers' requirements in this demanding industry. In addition to product development we continue to work closely with regulators across the world."
