Black Streak spotted in Ramsey?

by isleofman.com 10th September 2011

There's been a possible sighting of a missing piece of rocket in Ramsey.

The Black Streak rocket was launched from the Mull of Galloway on Thursday and the team behind it think the important nose section may been washed up in the Isle of Man.

A lady walking her dog spotted what could be the section floating in Poyll Dooey at high tide last night.

On returning to investigate this morning there was no sign of the object.

It is described as being about a metre long, bright orange with a black nose cone and is supported by a self-inflating life jacket.

If you spot it please contact Manx Radio.
