Scope for more LCY flights, says BA

British Airways' move to operate the Island's service to London City Airport has been popular since it came into service in May.

That's according to General Manager Commercial for BA at London City Luke Hayhoe.

BA took over the route after Aer Arann dropped it in mid-April.

The London City route is an important link for the Island's finance industry.

Mr Hayhoe said if interest increases there may be scope to introduce a fourth flight from the Island to their daily schedule:
