Mayor launches 2012 Poppy Appeal

Douglas Mayor Councillor David Ashford has launched the Royal British Legion 2012 Poppy Appeal at the Strand Centre, Douglas.

In a short address he praised the efforts of the fundraisers and the generosity of the people of the Isle of Man, which had led to the Isle of Man county winning the Poppy Appeal trophy for more than 30 years.
