Clipper Odyssey Returns To The Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 15th August 2011
The 5218 ton ‘Boutique’ cruise vessel Clipper Odyssey is due to call at Douglas tomorrow. Although this is the first year the vessel has visited our shores, earlier this year she called at both Port St Mary and Port Erin on two separate occasions. This small Bahamas registered cruise vessel has spent the summer on a series of Round Britain cruises in addition to visits to the Baltic and NW Europe. The passengers visiting on this current cruise are from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The Clipper Odyssey is well known in Pacific waters and operates cruises from New Zealand to the Russian Far East. She can carry up to 120 passengers with 73 crew, and it is operated by the Clipper Cruise Line. During her call to Douglas it is anticipated that she will come alongside the Victoria Quay. Ends
