Please see the below notice regarding a scam email which has been posted on the Manxnet Service Status page. http://www.manx.net/service-status Please be aware of another Phishing scam which has been sent to a number of Manxnet email addresses this morning. PLEASE REMEMBER, MANX TELECOM WILL NEVER SEND YOU AN EMAIL ASKING YOU TO CONFIRM ANY USERNAME AND PASSWORD. Under no circumstances should you reply to any email, or follow a link contained in any email, which asks you to provide or confirm any username or password to prevent you from losing service or to upgrade an account. If you have any queries regarding this please contact us on 624 624. Copy of scam email follows: We wish to inform you that we have upgraded our Server to new Secured 2011 Version.This is to enable your Online SMS Account take a new look with new functions and help protect against Phishing e-mails. You are require to upgrade your Online SMS Account to 2011 Version to upgrade and enjoy the New Improved Features. To upgrade your Online SMS Account click here "LINK REMOVED" Fill in your Username and Password for upgrade of your Online SMS Account. Thank you for using Manx Telecom.
